Pastor Paul M. Ray

Paul Ray grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina and graduated from Dana High School in 1955. In 1965 Paul surrendered to preach the Gospel and graduated from Tennessee Temple Bible College in 1969. He has a Master of Ministry from Covington Seminary in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and is also a graduate of Missionary Spanish Language School, Edinburgh, Texas.

Pastor Ray started at Pumpville Baptist Church when he convinced locals to re-establish the church during a revival in 1985. He preached off and on throughout the years and became the pastor during the years 1992 to 1996. God brought him back to Pumpville as pastor in July 2018 and he has been steadily preaching the Gospel to his congregation every Sunday since.
